OTZ supports the growth and development of its members and their children. This scholarship is in honor of Zonna Lie-Ito, whom exemplified a passion for education, community service and a way of life true to her values. The goal is to provide members financial aid for education and training in preparation for career opportunities in the telecommunications industry.
This achievement based scholarship is awarded to students for academic and vocational education. Students are recognized for their professionalism, excellence and can-do attitude.
Each year, this scholarship supports three college students and one vocational student. The award is $1,500 for full time students (12 or more credits per term) and $750 for part time students (3-11 credits per term).
